Do you have a vacuum that is 'smelly' when you turn it on? Just put a dryer sheet in the bag (or a 'Stick Up' air freshener in the bag of an upright). You home will smell fresh and clean!

Would you like to be able to clean under your stove without having to move it? If you have a drawer below the oven, simply remove it and voila, there is your floor ready for easy cleaning - and you don't have to move the stove!

Adding a few tablespoons of vinegar along with your regular dishwashing detergent will make your dishwashing more effective. It will help cut grease and leaves dishes sparkling.

Remove spilled nail polish from wood furniture: Don't wipe it up! The solvents in nail polish soften most finishes, and wiping may take off the finish. Instead, let the polish dry completely; then gently scrape it off with a credit card. Wax the surface, using superfine steel wool.

Sometimes, just removing the lint from your dryer lint screen isn't enough. Using fabric softener sheets can leave a waxy buildup on it that isn't readily visible. Cleaning the screen with a quick scrub using soapy water and then rinsing will remove the waxy builldup.

An easy way to clean louvres and vents, (i.e. A/C) is to use a paint brush.

To remove water stains from a wood table, place mayo on it smearing and working it into the stain. Let stand for 5 minutes and then wipe off. The water stain should be removed!
